Curd is an ingenious food found in india and Indian cuisines eating curd is our Indian culture the leftover curd is always used to make more curd in india we also have a tradition of dahi curd and cheeni sugar you might recall your mother or grandmother feeding you with a spoon of curd and sugar when you go for your exam or when you go for some important work curd or dahi is very much part of our Indian culture but what is the importance of dahi in our health lets understand why dahi is a super food so lets talk about that today 

1) Curd for healthy hair curd has been used through generations for scalp and hair to keep them healthy curd contains high protein and anti bacterial property and lactic acid in curd helps strenghthening the hair follicles curd reduces dandruff and prevents problem like balding thinning or itchiness you can apply curd directly on the scalp or you can make a paste some pack out of curd take 4 tbsp full of curd and mix gram flour and make a paste and apply that paste on your scalp evenly keep for sometime massage nicely and then rinse with water it would help to get rid of dandruff as well as have a silky and shiny hair 

2) Curd for healthy skin curd is excellent not just for your hair but also for your skin it is excellent for moisturizing your skin it helps removing acne and prevents sun burn make a face pack with 2 tbsp full of curd and 1 tbsp full of gram flour add 1 tsp full of sandalwood powder and pinch of turmeric mix well and apply the pack evenly on your face and neck you can keep it for 10 to 15 mins and use it everyday for a best result this mixture improves the skin tone and reduces the spots 

3) Curd for good digestion curd can aid digestion because of its pro biotic properties but understand how does it work it is pro biotic in nature meaning it helps with the growth of good bacteria in the body and helps maintain gut health curd raises the lactic acid in small intestine and helps creating an acidic environment in the intestine this is very necessary for an adequate calcium absorption consuming curd regularly is also good for all your vaginal problems as it prevents vaginal infections

 I am giving you a practical hint while eating food if you feel that there are lot of spices in your vegetables then add curd to that your dals have more chilli add curd and when you take curd that food itself becomes easily digestable assimilable spices will not hurt you or harm you your nervous system would remain calm and composed so use curds in different ways there are people who feel that after taking curd they catch cold and all that when you are making bhakri and chapatis mix all these things in curd rather then mixing it in water and that itself will help your body to have better quantity of curd so try try all these things but curd
